Date: Started at the beginning of the third year of my education.
Tasks: Help with capturing motion data.
Programs: MVN Studio, Motion Builder, FaceWare Retargetter, FaceWare Anakyzer
Description: As a member if the motion capture team I have gotten hands on experience with the hardware, worked with the software and helped peers with their projects. I have worked with the SenseX suit, making sure nothing happened to it during a shoot as well as worn it. And worked with the equipment and programs to record the data. Next to body motion capture we also have a facial motion capture system from FaceWare we got to work with. Though I have never worn the helmet myself I have helped recording the data. I also looked at the programs you use to progress the data, motion builder for the body and FaceWare analyzer and retargetter for the facial system. I can’t say I am very confident using these programs, never having used motion capture for one of the projects I worked on, but I know the basics.My experience lies in recording the data and not so much in using the data. Which I am interested in but have not yet gotten an opportunity in.
